pushing daisies comes to mind when i see this picture
i was mozzie-bitten all over during set up! anyhow, exhaustion is a little bit of an understatement. the other wedding vendors delayed our set up timeline and we left the venue around 10pm. i thought i'd be fresh for today's touch-ups but, the caterer came a risky 1hr before the event to set up the buffet area and i ended up helping them lay the tableware on the guest tables!
in all, it was a cosy affair where a crowd of 100 were invited to witness the solemnization. apart from the crazy amount of mozzies and insects (garden wedding we all say), i did enjoy great views of the sea and neighbouring islands off the coast!
here are a few pictures, i'll put up more on my website's gallery once it's up =)
friday 1200hrs
there was this vintage laundry hanger originally. when we got there on friday, we realised the chalet management changed the hanger to new (not very nice) ones - we preferred the vintage version obviously!
while fixing those florals on the gazebo head, i was afraid a sudden gush of wind might topple the ladder i was on but got that off my mind after realising what a great perspective of the coast i had at such heights!
inside the house, area for solemnization
bridal table
and we dismantle everything in about...8 hrs?!
oh mans. i want a wedding almost like that! by the beach. hahaha.
