October Informational Session - Dessert Bar Feature

our latest dessert bar creation was inspired by Vera Wang's Spring 2010 collection; here's a description of the collection via her Spring 2010 feature page from verawangonweddings.com
This Collection celebrates a new sense of freedom and fragility. From delicate, ethereal layers to pale hand-painted tulles and silks, this collection embraces a youthful charm, femininity and romance. Ribbons, buttons, bows and blossoms add to the overall whimsy and lightness in an entirely modern take on wedding fantasy! Asymmetrical draping, random gathers and all sorts of scattered decorative touches add to the eccentricity and artistry of this collection.

customizing desserts: white biscuit sticks with pearls, layered jelly (lovin' the alternate opaque-translucent layers!), barley with lemon & white chocolate marshmallows.

so here, voila!

tulle was the main material of choice, other materials we sought for this bar were chiffon and silk. the dress like her signature dresses of the 2010 collection was made with tissue organza likewise! texture was very much emphasized and reflected through the desserts of which were customized to whites, shades of nude and ivory.
