Cocoa Tree Invasion Beckons

smarties and peanut m&m's are my childhood faves - the cheap classics i call 'em. cocoa + nostalgia. then i could go on to two types of ferrero roche, the originals and noir which are best eaten chilled. but life's never complete without lindt lindors - i love all the flavours but my favourite would be the hazelnut or milk chocolate lindors. neuhaus serves as good cocoa therapy too...i love their cocoa-coffee mix shaped as coffee beans. it was a staple along our european drives from belgium to germany. and there was once i bought a few bars of fauchon chocolate in milk and dark variations. i opened them in my paris hotel room to just 'have a bite while channel surfing...well it disappeared from my hand in less than 5 minutes. for more sophisticated chocolate but not necessarily sophisticated consumption style - laduree dark chocolate 'slices' are heavenly. you wouldn't even care about their shop decor after stuffing your mouth with these! that's how good it was. and then coming back down to earth for good ol' suisse chocs, major supermarket chain co-op sells some damn good in-house brand chocs like branche and minor - both hazelnut based chocolates. nuts and/or praline with milk/dark chocolate are killer combis.

i need help with this addiction.

Poladroid Break

i'm probably the last person on blogosphere to have downloaded and posted a poladroid! but what the heck, while others' excitement have faded, i'm just about to start...oh wait, start on my international business law case, yes that's right. i should be doing that right about now.

Homecoming

it's been six years, different venue but same location. who knew six years ago during my sister's wedding, we'd be doing up another wedding in the same building but as a wedding event design company instead?!

a sweet return.

International Women's Day

The gathering of high-powered bankers in Davos, Switzerland, in January admitted as much. The world, a panel at the World Economic Forum decided, might be in a better place today if the now-defunct Lehman Brothers had been run as Lehman Brothers and Sisters

Because I Have a Paper Tomorrow...

Your personal style is a mix of 1 specific styles:
100% French Eclectic

French Eclectic
Parlez-vous français? Even if the answer is no, you can confidently say your home does! French Eclectic somehow manages to be both formal and casual, classy and unassuming at the same time. You like your spaces to feel inviting from the moment you (or your guest) opens the front door and this feeling should continue even after you've entered your most formal room.

Even though there are French antiques here and gold details there, the rustic country elements provide a balance and warmth that seems to say, "come in, relax and stay a while." Your love of antiques leads you to flea markets, garage sales and hours of eBay hunting.
