Blooming Day

its thursday today and thus we make a trip down to the florist. thursdays are flower days, remember that. before making our way to thomson, we dropped by joo chiat to look for this missing furniture shop. we failed to locate it but bumped into my japanese relative whose wedding is this weekend. my mom's doing the bridal flowers by the way. noriko looks so pretty as usual - hopefully i'll get some pics of her at the wedding and then later norfasarie & baihakki's perhaps? haha i'm still thoroughly amused with their wedding invitation card! i'll show you in the next post though i recall someone telling me it came out in the newspapers before.

after lunch and off to far east flora! armed with my camera, i snapped away at all the beautiful blooms in the freezing cold room. enjoy!



perennial favourite: pink peonies. they didnt have a good selection today though



yellow cynbidiums. the extra large white ones are perfect for any wedding. they had ones in russet too! very very nice

beautiful flowers come with a price unfortunately, but chrysanthenum pompoms are cheap though! haha ;) i have yet to decide my attire for the 2 weddings this weekend! hope the weather will be kind to us all.
