V is for Genius

can't help but be fascinated with the haphazard tissue organza and dramatic skirts that make up vera wang's spring 2010 collection. even though some may look like a pile of excess remnants at a spotlight counter, the genius that is Vera manages to create a playful yet sophisticated and overall whimsical look for the daring bride!

this one is priced at USD6,800

the back!

the white tulle actually layers over a handpainted floral print - amazing details

i featured this gown in my previous post and finally got a rear view of it! you need guts and glamour genes to pull this off!

price upon request? hmm, whatever it is i'm sure its not more than fann wong's highly questionable bally gown!

discussing possible dessert bar themes with the sis, i'm very keen on creating a dessert bar reflecting vera wang's spring 2010 collection! whites/nudes, alot of play with ruffles and textures, anyone interested? i think it'd be something quite the un-ordinary...

okay apart from those, there's monique lhullier's sunday rose gown to match vera's dramatic skirts. away from the fluffy puffy world of tulle and organza which i seem to be trapped in these days, Dolly Couture (left) offers brides vintage inspired gowns at very very reasonable prices! only 3 digits $$$! thought i'd just add it in this post since vintage inspired weddings are the current in-things.
