Umar's baby Shower

Baby Umar's shower was held at the white studio @ fort canning. We decided to steer away from the typical pale blues and pinks and went with with softer shades of lemon green, mint, mocha and chocolate brown. Giant helium-filled polka dotted balloons and handmade paper pinwheels were the main design elements and in true TWC fashion, there were loads of customization throughout the event. From stationery to desserts and even the coffee sachets didn't get a miss!

In conjunction, we have also launched a new design arm labelled

the original plan was to have 8 couples but we hosted 15 eventually! so firstly apologies to those who felt they didn't get their hour's worth of time with us! our info session was slightly scaled down as compared to previous ones due to time constraints but i'll be featuring some 3 arrangements we displayed on sunday. since its october we thought a very warm romantic autumn like arrangement would be something nice to create for a change.

nothing very autumn here in singapore i know - the only words we can relate to in that description is warm. and very warm it has been this past week!!!

The Engagement Party

presenting TWC's dessert bar at an engagement party hosted by us on Sunday - venetian red and tyrian were the chosen colors to feature, something we haven't worked with before! all went well thankfully except that the weather was hot and humid! more dessert bar pictures will be up once i get sufficient rest from the hectic weekend!

due to time constraints, i'll just be posting up what everyone was treated to at Baby D's small birthday celebration. actually there is nothing much to share since we just came together to EAT, oh yes and cut a birthday cake too! end November will be busy for us, come December even busier! but in between the chaos, i hope to post more updates on Project V and the likes =) take care and have a great (productive) week ahead =)

If Only...

why is our sunny island severely lacking beautiful venues to hold weddings/events? or worst still, the very few colonial buildings boasting classical architecture are often given a modern (and mostly ugly) facelift destroying the grand old world charm these buildings once offered.

this is probably not relevant to us but if you have the moolahs to hold your wedding in philadelphia, you may wanna check out the Elkins Estate.

we can only dream such places exist in singapore =(.

Bangkok to Bussorah

the alien's 23rd birthday dinner took place at some shady place along jln besar. hah! so it was an italian kitchen nicely tucked between the ktvs and pubs. food was good, company better. we ended up at mustafa centre (which was surprisingly nearby) walking through sam leong st. after alien left to party with sheikh haikel, we teh tarik-ed at sultan cafe - which is opposite kampong glam cafe (how many times did we repeat this?!). then my 10min ride home cost me $1.17/min.

The Pink Parade

Baby D's shower was perfectly pink! anyhow, we're very grateful to the One up there for making the event successful. with the crazy amount of hours and effort put in, we're glad everyone enjoyed the event and free flow of free food. haha =) i wonder why the j.co donuts weren't snapped up as fast as we predicted. oh right, cos there were 17 other dessert types?
