anyhow - although i've only got less than a month of escuela left, i just bought myself an old-school school bag. totally complements my must-have canary notepads. also, it's big enough to fit TWC meeting peripherals. there, purchase justified.

Various Updates

• it's been a good week so far. those familiar with my sports fanaticism will know why!
• had a very small (and pretty slack) birthday celebration for my mom. this is just the pre-celebration celebration cos i'm bringing her, my dad and sister out to dinner at a not so cheap restaurant. haha! bless my bank account pls.
  
  
  
  
• i welcomed the first pack of cotton paper into my life =) its so lovely. those frays you see are the highest quality of cellulose fibre. Catiere Fabriano has been around for 700 years, trust them to make the best paper!
  
  
  
  
• another product/service i'm offering. bespoke monogrammed correspondence cards from the royal series. comes in a range of papers to choose from =) below is a sample with my initials on them.
  
  
  
  
• i'm drop dead tired. packed and labeled 500 sugar biscuits for a charity event. will post pics when i actually take a picture of what The Wedding Chateau did.
  
• but since some beautiful individuals have brought much happiness into my life for the past 5 days, i continue smiling despite the aching backbone =)

Museum Merchandise

i came across small collections of wedgewood museum and V&A cards at borders. SGD7 & 6 respectively per piece. i really love the wedgewood museum cards!!! kinda itching to get them and thinking of a reason to do so. i couldn't find them online sadly and the official wedgewood museum site sucks by the way so don't bother going there.

V&A offers an online museum shop lucky for us. the overseas shipping rate for shopping to up to GBP100 will cost GBP14.95. i'm planning to get a few stuff and you would too once you've seen what they have - so wanna share the shipping costs??? hehe.

diana's museum worthy parisian flea market souvenir (totally adore it - i know said this many times!) and a british museum gift i bought 10 years ago? almost unused except for that missing pencil.

speaking of museums, i get quarterly updates of national museum activity. perks of being affliated to one of the most beautiful buildings in singapore =). they've got a few must-go exhibitions and screenings running from july to september. will let you know soon or if you must see it now, i've added a link on the sidebar.

Nouveau

a healthy dose of retail therapy plus the arrival of my sony made me one excited girl last night! after the camera delivery, i made my way to syed alwi road for some econo-shopping. i'm proud to declare that i shall not be ripped off by candy empire anymore because i have found 20pc lindt lindors for SGD9.90! previously i have been paying SGD24 for 12pcs! hah!

i got these prettttty bangles too! there were other color combis so i may be going back to get more. it's 3 for SGD10. a steal right?

then at zara's sale, prices for pants were down to SGD39.90, orp at SGD89.90 =) awesome. so i got these salmon pink ones and a black/white pin stripe.

next stop: arab st + kino.

New Toy

back in my super old first post, i declared that this blog would be up and running once i got my camera. thank goodness (and finally - for any of you who knew how long i've been considering to replace my history museum worthy cybershot w1) that became reality. i'm so happy my camera finally reached singapore shores. decided to purchase mine from dubai as it's way cheaper saving me about SGD170. i have yet to collect it though. and after that, i'd take a few days fiddling about all its functions =)
